Life, Critical Illness, and Disability insurance: Why do you need it and how much should you have?

by Tim Weichel

If you want to learn more about insurance and why it’s important to you, I recommend two web sites:

Life Happens, a non-profit organization, helps you understand the importance of life, disability and long-term care insurance in a sound financial plan, so you’re able to better protect yourself and your family. The site gives you up-to-date information and personal accounts of how these types of insurance can change lives, along with financial information and trends that allow you put it all into perspective.

The Link Between is a Blog with informative articles and advice on Life Insurance, Living Benefits, Estate Planning and Business Insurance. This blog is written by PPI, a leading marketer of insurance solutions through independent advisors.  I am contracted with PPI as my Managing General Agency and we offer actuarial, tax and specialized expertise in all aspects of life insurance, and specifically in its design and custom application.

To explore these topics and learn more, please click on Life Happens!  or  The Link Between!

And here is a great calculator to help you see how much life insurance you might need.

Then give me a call so that I can help you sort through all the different products.  As a licensed life and health insurance broker, it’s my job to get you the best combination of products, riders and prices.  Tim Weichel 705-798-0062 or 416-230-2703 tim@timweichel.ca
